We are meant to soar, not plummet. Sadly, many times I am my own biggest enemy. Too often I take on the role of being a victim, I am no victim I am an overcomer. We all have been victimized in one way or the other but we are not victims, we are conquerors. Too often I feared taking responsibility for my wrongdoings. It wasn't until I decided to own up to my mistakes when I discovered a new level of confidence. It's easy to play the blame game, and many times I get caught up attempting to take the easy way out. Taking the road less traveled is way more rewarding.
Too often I get stuck in my head, my past, my circumstances etc, this causes me to miss the bigger picture. I wish I knew sooner that the only thing holding me back is me. I need to stop adding fuel to fire with toxic thoughts. When I find myself getting caught up in a negative thought process I try to shift my mindset on how things can improve significantly. Together, lets make the choice to concentrate on optimistic thoughts.
Lets focus on soaring, conquering our issues, owning up to our mistakes. No need to look back when you are meant to push forward, yes the road will be difficult, but looking ahead to the numerous possibilities and outcomes is more promising than looking back. We can't change the past. Focusing too much on the past will lead to a cycle of negative history repeating itself.
Issues will always occur, thats life. But think about how you can rise above pessimistic behaviors. You can unlearn negative patters, put those behaviors behind you. We often get entangled in entertaining our complications by complaining and letting them overtake us. Lets change the cycle, instead of plummeting in our issues lets soar over them.
Isaiah 40:31 "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
