Breaking Free

One thing I noticed about my walk with Christ is the new insights He continually grants. For instance, I knew I had to change my mindset on the way I thought about myself and my relationship with Him. I have to starve every thought of doubt, misconception, and negativity. I had to recognize the biggest battle I have is the battle within. I had to learn to hate my sins more than anyone else's. I find it too easy to engage on what others are invested in instead of investing that energy into my spiritual growth. The thing about my thoughts is that they are free flowing, my job is to make sure my thoughts align up to what is hopeful, uplifting, and true. This is a daily battle that I will learn to overcome. The truth is, life is a journey of development. I believe we are put through many seasons to equip us for the path laid out before us. Sometimes it seems like we conquer one challenge just for another obstacle to pop up. Count it all joy, this very obstacle will be the thing that helps transform your faith and character. Together, lets allow our minds to thrive off thoughts that align with prosperity. I am no longer a slave to my own captivity, I am a child of God. I have to believe it to receive it.
