There are many different chapters a person will undergo in life before he or she is shaped into who they are meant to be. The reason I mention this is because some seasons will last longer than others, some seasons will be joyful while others will be painful. There will be seasons we must willingly rely on God to perform His mighty work. Those are the seasons where faith comes into play, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen~ Hebrews 11:1." There are many times God doesn't respond on our time then we attempt to articulate a plan that only brings destruction to our future. Its moments like this we must wait on the Lord, we have to humble ourselves before Him and accept the fact we can't carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We can't change the past and we can't determine the future. All we can do is pray, put faith in action and submit to the One who is in control.
We will be placed in many seasons where we will question if God hears our prayers. The truth is, God hears our prayers but He answers on His time. There are seasons when we will face tough decisions, changes, and life's circumstances. In crucial moments, we must acknowledge that God is at work behind the scenes. There will be many times we question whether or not the seasons were in is producing fruit, the answer is yes. Every season comes with purpose, as long as you want it to. I can remember the devastation I felt about spending an extra semester in college. I asked God why, why am I in school another semester when I can start a new chapter in life. He showed me that spending an extra semester in school will be the most vital part of my college career. My last semester at school was one of the most fruitful seasons of my life. I had the privilege of working at a great job with amazing co-workers, to top it off I had the greatest professors who challenged me to write to the best of my capability. To add icing to the cake I developed meaningful friendships. It's reasons like this questioning God is useless. I say that because His plan is better than my plan. His ways are higher than mine. God loves you and He loves me, therefore, He will set up a future that will only lead to prosperity.
