Through the many different seasons in life I cant help but take heed to the greater depth that comes with knowing God. Pain is inevitable, but sometimes pain is the very thing that keeps us connected to our Father. We all have to go through rough seasons to be shaped and molded into who we are meant to be. We are all looking forward to getting to the next level, but sometimes it takes strategy, dedication, persistence, and trembling to get to that place we not only want to be but need to be. This may be overwhelming but it is during these times I must decrease in order for Him to increase. When I find myself under pressure I must push past my understanding and lean on His. I must pursue the knowledge of His wisdom. I have been through many seasons where I questioned if God was present with me. The truth is, He is always here, He never leaves or forsakes. The thing is, God is a gentlemen, He will not force his way in our mess, we must pray and seek His guidance. We must invite Him in. An issue I stumble upon is thinking I can handle my issues on my own. I fall in this trap of shame, too embarrassed to invite Christ in. When I sink to that place of shame, I must tap out, to tap in to His truth. I must fight off negative thoughts because what I dwell on will manifest. I must renew my mind, think on things that bring hope, restoration, and truth.
"The words which I speak to you are spirit and they are life!" John 6:63
