We are all called to do something. In order to reach that mission it takes stretching of the faith, the process can be excruciating. Life comes with many bumps and bruises but the way we respond determines our roots. How do you respond when you are out of control? do you respond in rage? depression? We all have different ways of coping. What I discovered through my walk of faith is love heals, saves and restores. Loved people love people and hurting people hurt people. The reason I say this is because there is no greater gift than love, it is the most liberating thing that was ever granted to me. We are all granted with love from Christ but need assistance tapping into the wholeness of it. I found the depth of love when someone loved me past my offenses, rage, and discouragement. I aspire to love on others and extend grace the same way Christ does. His love challenges me to look past ones scares and see them for who they are. Love healed me and changed me for the better. There was a time I ran from anything that looked like love because it seemed too good to be true. Once I finally let my guards down and allowed God to work through my mess I came to the conclusion that love is powerful. When you love with an open heart it gives God more room to work within you. I want to challenge you, do as Jentezen Franklin says "Love like you've never been hurt." Push past anything that attempts to hinder your growth, push past the offenses, push to persevere.
