Thank you

Dear God: Thank you for being a good father, for consistently watching over me. Thank you for seeing the best in me even when I am at my absolute worst. You continue to comfort me on my darkest days. When I am in need you are the source, you continue to pour into me. When I am empty, your word fills me. Your reckless love overwhelms me. Your love liberates me to be completely whole. I am flabbergasted that you are willing to carry my burdens, my mistakes, my shame in return for your love. You are unchanging, you continue to show faithfulness even when I am not faithful to you. You allow me to lean on your understanding. Thank you for planning hope for my destiny. You never fail me, you allow things to fall in place at your time. Thank you, for taking me right where I am. You are a light in a dark room, a restorer of the brokenhearted, a shepherd to the lost. Last but not least, thank you for filling every area of my life that lacked your presence.
