Now that I'm out of school, I have more time on my hands to think, meditate and engage in activities I enjoy such as reading, writing etc. This is great because I have down time to relax before my schedule gets hectic. Its an interesting adjustment. When I'm at school I barely have time to pause, everything goes at a quick pace. Now that I'm out of school, It seems my process is moving at a much slower rate than expected. This ties in with my control factor, its crucial times like this I am reminded there is only ONE in control. Through the process, my faith is being stretched to capacity. It is not easy, but it is worth it to experience the faithfulness of God. He always shows up on time, not your time, but on time. I feel like everything that is worth the wait has an endless reward. Thats how God works. To top it off the past three months of being home I learned valuable life lessons, personal and spiritual. I would say the biggest challenge amongst them all is learning that I am valuable in God's eyes regardless if my schedule is full or empty. Its times like this I am reminded to not rely on my own understanding because circumstances typically come with a bigger purpose. A career can't define my worth neither can a schedule. I believe what matters most to God is how we serve others through acts of love and service. We are all granted with a gift from God, it is for us to use and bless others, this is how we glorify God.
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.~Proverbs 3:5-6"
