Did you know any form of negative language spoken over your life can produce bad fruit? I recently did some research on "word curses" and discovered some intriguing information. Examples of word curses are "I will not be successful" or "I am stupid." Any detrimental word spoken over ones life produces an impotent seed. When a person speaks pessimism over their life they are producing bad fruit or in other words a worthless seed.
When you describe yourself or another person in a derogatory way you are producing a rotten seed in the heart. If this seed is not disregarded it will soon bring forth toxic internalization in a persons mind and heart. For instance, if you constantly speak uplifting words over your life you are producing good fruit and good fruit leads to a flourishing life. Words such as "I will be successful" or "I will make an impact in my community" are elements of good fruit. It is said like this "You are what you say you are."
What words are you speaking over your life? are they harmful? are they beneficial?
Words spoken or unspoken have power to them. They produce seeds in us that either flourish into a sustaining fruit or crumble which results to desolation.
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. ~Proverbs 18:21
